Cyclone nation has turned! NOT A SINGLE NEGATIVE POST!
I love coach Paul Rhoads. Everything this man has done for Iowa State has been unheard of. I have not seen great coaching like his in a long time.
40 seconds remaining with 3 time out, we take a Knee: WHY NOT!?! We are turning the ball over right and left, I say we take it to over time with a little break and that's exactly the call.
The call to go for the 2 point conversion is what I would have called as well. As soon as Nebraska picked against the wind in the OT, I knew Rhoads is thinking 2 point conversion, especially after Mahoney's missed FGs.
Damn, I love the Cyclone Nation. Keep it up everyone. Paul Rhoads is a rare find by any organisation - we need to rally behind our coach and win at Colorado.
CYCLONE POWER!

I am very surprised with the board's reaction. I thought Rhoads woul be getting pummeled. I'm mostly upset at Kuehl for a terrible pass. There are no excuses for that effort.
I don't bring my own opinions, just attack others. -

I guess most people think losing is a good thing. Sorry, I won't be one who accepts that, or moral victories. Terrible call.

I think this game will reunite Cyclone Nation and I think it has done the job already.
And Screw Nebraska. Paul Rhoads is 1-1 against Nebraska and we don't care about them any more. I am excited for the next week's matchup for Iowa State. Colorado - be really really scared!

Kicking against the wind with Nebraska known for their rushing TDs. What would you do all day long? Tie the game? I don't think that's the right call.

Re: Cyclone nation has turned! NOT A SINGLE NEGATIVE POST!
I agree that it was a terrible call, but only because Bueker (who was the holder last season) should have been in there. A wide open Franklin and Kuehl throws the ball like he has never touched a football before. He should be embarrassed by that throw. However, we need to build on this game and beat Colorado. We can not stumble against them.

Re: Cyclone nation has turned! NOT A SINGLE NEGATIVE POST!
We have a coach who plays to freaking win.
I love the call.
I love the heart of this team.
Nothing against Kuehl, because I'm sure he'd give everything to have that one back, but if Coach is going to make a habit of this, we might want the backup qb at holder.

Re: Cyclone nation has turned! NOT A SINGLE NEGATIVE POST!
I actually felt like we were going to win the game and I expected our guys to pull it out. That is a different feeling, felt the same way at Texas when we had the lead.
I just can't believe how physical our team is now, been waiting most of my life to see that consistently. Hopefully they can keep it up.
Go Cyclones!

I think we're going to be ok. Go to CU next week and smack the Buffs in the mouth, get to a bowl game, and I think we're going to be ok. We've proven we can hang in the new Big 12, and I think Rhoads has our boys on the right track.

Too many turnovers is why we lost. Pick 6's hurt too.

Somewhere, in an alternate universe, fans are still storming the field. That's how close that was.

I think it was a good call. Nebby was pretty solid on offense during overtime, and they have one of the best kickers in the nation.

Too many turnovers is why we lost. Pick 6's hurt too. True fact. If we take a little better care of the ball, especially the pick-6, this is a totally different game. If we would have scored when we had momentum from getting the turnover deep in NU territory, it is a totally different game.
If "ifs and buts" were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas.
