It could have been s slightly more tolerable 85-18-2, but Paul Rhoads had to go for the crazy play. This is akin to when Tom Osborn went for a win (instead of accepting a tie, before the overtime rules) in an Orange Bowl for the national championship.
The sad part is, Nebraska fans get the last laugh. We'll NEVER EVER have a chance for another shot at them. They own the last game against us, FOREVER. That really, really sucks.
At least we still have scoreboard in Lincoln.
I'll miss the game, but I'm glad we're done with their fans.

Oh, I think we'll severely miss them, financially. There were almost 52,000 people at this game. It will be very difficult to replace this game, every other year. Sure, we'll be playing the Big12-South teams all every year instead, but will they travel like Nebraska fans? I can see home games against teams like Texas or Baylor being much lower.Quote:
