Our lack of depth will be greatly tested with the thin air so that game definitely bothers me.

- They should bring oxygen as I don't think you can develop lung capacity in a week

Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Doesn't mean I'm not worried about Colorado though, I won't count them out of pulling an upset.

Re: I am not too worried about Colorado or Missouri
You know, I'm not too worried either. What a wonderful feeling to be like this.
Yeah, we lost a heatbreaker, but I agree with the sentiment that broken hearts are best healed by kicking a**.
Flashing back to '08, I never thought I could feel this good about Cyclone football. It's wonderful, and I hope we can finish the season with 2 wins and really show the nation we're for real.
Let's go State!

I think the thin air is definitely a factor. For both our football and basketball teams. We never have good luck in Boulder in either sport. I would imagine we have oxygen on hand, but I dont know that for sure.
Boulder always scares me.

Re: I am not too worried about Colorado or Missouri
I think the Missouri game will be much like the Nebraska game, although I do not think it will go in to over time. It will be a close game with both teams playing well, hopefully we pull out the win in this one.
I expect us to beat Colorado.

Re: I am not too worried about Colorado or Missouri
Colorado is always tough out there for Iowa State, we need our A game. Not worried about Mizzou yet.

Re: I am not too worried about Colorado or Missouri
I don't know how you can't be worried about this game against CU.
Senior Day
There will probably be 35,000 people at the game (stale environment)
CU has a couple close losses
IF CU wins their last 3 games....they will be bowl eligible.
Make sure you don't call the charge. But make sure you call the foul on the scrum.... -

Remember that they were up 45-17 before their collapse. They have potential. As long as we give them reason to doubt themselves, I think we'll be fine.

CU has done a good job of getting people in the seats this season. What I mean by that is when you would expect 35,000 in the stands, they have been getting closer to 47,000-48,000.

Re: I am not too worried about Colorado or Missouri
I want this win against CU a lot, because it will really get the bad taste out of our mouth. I want to see Iowa State come out as a team with something to prove.

Re: I am not too worried about Colorado or Missouri
People are completely underrating Mizzou. We struggle against teams with good QBs.

-Careful... We should beat up on CU. Doesn't mean we will - we definitely need to bring our A-game to Boulder. If we're not careful, the teams we are supposed to beat will sneak up on us and beat us. I believe Rhoads will keep our guys level-headed and ready to play.
