i dont think khuel needed to roll out. he should have just stood there and got behind the pass. love the call, he just pooped his pants after he saw how wide open he was and floated it in there.
This play shows the need to have a back-up qb holding snaps. Maybe CPR picked this up from DMac because I use to ***** about not using a qb back then when I think it was also against Nebraska when DMac tried a fake field goal or extra point and it was snuffed because we had a non-athlete trying to make the play. After watching last night's play over and over, any kind of a decent throw wins that game, the pass was just shotputted and awful. Not blaming Khuel, he's not a qb, but I will be upset if we don't see a back-up qb as a holder next year. Oklahoma and I'm sure other teams use back-up qb's as holders and it just makes sense. You never know when it can win you a big game like it could have last night.
Watching the replay is disheartening. I don't recommend it.
