    Re: Bo Pelini

In the halftime interview, he commented that the Nebraska fumble that led to our field goal shouldn't have been a fumble because his forward progress had stopped for 15 seconds.

Watching the replay, his forward progress never stopped for even a second.

In the post game interview he said, "all great teams have games like this" or something to that affect. He did comment that you can't play a certain way against a "Rhoads coached team".

The guy is a tool. There is no doubt about that.
The campaign starts now. November 6, 2012.

We had the "I love Bo" thread last week.
If it makes you feel any better we really like Dan Hawkins and want to keep him in the Big 12.

I just chuckled during the post game interview as the small drippage of snot dripped outta his nose yet he couldn't bring himself to wipe it.

    Re: Bo Pelini

In all fairness, he gave Paul Rhoads credit for what he's done at ISU in various other interviews leading up to the game. I'm sure now he has even more respect for our program which is why it's a shame we won't get to play them anymore.

I think people make Bo out to be a jerk (which he kind of is) because he's wants to talk about his team rather than the team they are facing. I think he was in too much shock during the post game interview to be giving us any credit.

Btw, did anyone else notice the big ole boogie hanging out of Bo's nose in the on-field post game interview? Gross.

I know you're being sarcastic and I do like the post but couldn't resist commenting on Hawkins. He can go work for Rick Neuheisel at UCLA and two of my least favorite coaches will be together. Tricky Ricky managed to also destroy the Buffs program (and Washington, too, but that's another story) and went for two against ISU at our homecoming up 22pts with 4 min to go, and got into a yelling match with us in the student section area after the game when we booed him. Hawkins destroyed any karma he had by calling timeout in the blue field bowl with 15 seconds left in the game so they could try to score on ISU again to make Boise State look better. Bo, for all his uncouth ways dealing with the press after games has a long way to go before he gets to that level. I wish CU was at the Jack so we could send them out in style too, but I'll settle for a big win in Boulder. Go State!

I got the feeling from his halftime interview that he felt we didn't pose a serious threat even though we were ahead. He said we will be fine and didn't provide the lady somethings his team needed to work on. He just comes across as a cocky *******. Never once did he give Us credit for keeping the game close. Everything was about him and his team. He resembles NU and their piece of **** fans. Go die in the Big 10 Cornhuskers. My father couldn't even see the last play b/c there was some Husker fan throwing punches at a couple ISU fans.

What the **** are doing here. Seriously. It's over; after more than 100 years competing with ISU, NU took the money and ran away from Texas (who they still can't beat).

What is it exactly that you want to hear? ISU and NU football fans have nothing to talk about from this point going forward so how 'bout you take it to a husker board or a B10 one.

Have some class and go away.

Mods, can we get some help with this? NU fans have absolutely no reason to be here.

Bo doesn't even give our players gushing credit. He is very matter of fact when talking about the accomplishments of our players. To him, nothing short of a national championship is worthy of praise.

Last week when our RB Helu ran for a SCHOOL RECORD 307 yards, he just said, "It's a team game. Roy played well, but he had good blocking, etc . . . "

    Don't take it personally.

I certainly don't take it personal, there once was a day when Iowa State fans (myself included) would read the quotes to see how much credit the winning coach gave us and argue academics, or character or arrest records - those days are behind us. Now - watch Ferentz closely - he is matter of fact and dry too, but he is not a *****. Big difference. Before this game, I planned to root for Nebraska vs Iowa, no way now - and its only because Iowa's coachs have class.

This is just my opinion, but I don't think hot heads make great leaders. Great leaders have poise under pressure. It will be interesting to see if Bo has long term success.

So why post here? I mean other than to be an *******. The game is over and NU won. God willing we'll never meet again. Have some class and go find a B10 board to annoy.

He's an idiot and will be fired in 3 years at a minimum after beating up a player.
