ESPN's latest bowl projections
Mark Schlabach and Andrea Adelson have released their latest bowl projections for ESPN.com.
Schlabach has ISU vs. Idaho in the New Mexico Bowl while Adelson has Iowa State playing (get this) Northern Illinois in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl. Yes, that is the same Northern Illinois team that the Cyclones opened the season with. NCAA College Football BCS Bowl Projections Week 10 - ESPN -
Re: ESPN's latest bowl projections
I don't understand how we will be in a worse bowl than last year. IF we are bowl eligible than we would have 4 compared to the 3 conference wins.

Re: ESPN's latest bowl projections
Adleson is an idiot, that would never happen. It would be the worst ratings of any bowl and no one would travel to Detroit to see us kill an opponent we already beat.

Re: ESPN's latest bowl projections
The way this team is trending, I am starting to think (or should I say, believe) we WILL win our last two games. That being the case, we'll have a much better bowl than what is being predicted today by the "experts".

Re: ESPN's latest bowl projections
Representatives from any bowl game would be foolish to pick 2 teams to play each other again in the same season.

Re: ESPN's latest bowl projections
Question:
Do we travel better than K-State?

Re: ESPN's latest bowl projections
Any bowl would be fantastic this year. That being said, I wish some of these other schools would help us and either lose or win as necessary to knock a few Big 12 teams out. Oh, well.
I am personally pushing for that bowl in Memphis as an at large. Maybe we should start a 'We love Memphis' website for those guys :)

Re: ESPN's latest bowl projections
Chris....do you think these guys actually research the lower level bowl bids that much? Or do they sort of just throw whatever teams they want into each game? Do you think they consider some other factors which may make Iowa State attractive to an at large bowl?

Re: ESPN's latest bowl projections
I'm guessing these bowl prognosticators still aren't giving us a chance against Mizzou. After yesterday, I'm feeling pretty good about that game. Still gotta take care of CU first. One step at a time...

Re: ESPN's latest bowl projections
I'd love to play Northern Illinois again if we end up in a non-Big 12 bowl. Guaranteed win.

I am surprised that they don't try a little harder with the big news that Paul Rhoads keeps making.
