Re: What's the vibe on campus?
I have a bad feeling about attendance for Mizzou. I know a lot of people are heading home that Friday. I'll be there though Parents are coming up for the Creighton game that Sunday. Dad will be at the Mizzou game for sure, and mom and sister too depending on weather and time of game. But especially if its bad weather, I expect it to be pretty empty unfortunately.
But around campus people seem excited, although disappointed. I heard a lot more chatter about the game just walking around than I normally do, and people were talking about how much fun it was. If we keep competing against good teams and start pulling off some big wins, I think the students will just keep getting more involved.

I would be SHOCKED if the students fill the lower section for the Missouri game. Much less the upper deck. Prove me wrong guys. I will be sticking around for the weekend, btw.

Re: What's the vibe on campus?
Us students are very excited about the football team. Even though we have a couple tough losses, we love where Rhoads has the program headed. We can't ask for much more than what the players have been doing this year - working hard and improving each week. Needless to say, we're behind this team 100% and (especially compared to where the "experts" said we would be this year) are optimistic about our chances for a respectable bowl invite.
I agree with many of the previous posts that students will probably be heading home early, which is just a head-scratcher. In the end, a lot could be at stake and it would be a huge disappointment if we didn't have a good turnout.

Re: What's the vibe on campus?
In regards to leaving for Thanksgiving, a lot of people I know are holding out until after the game. I plan on leaving Sunday morning. Living in Des Moines I'll also try to make the Creighton basketball game. But a lot of people, especially the out of staters, will bolt on Friday. Hopefully enough stick around for the game...
