Right now there are 47 team eligible, 19 have been eliminated and 17 teams are at 5 wins.

Detroit in December?..............Not me.

Still hoping to pull out NYC... since I plan to be there for New Years anyways

Lots of teams have 3 (or even 4) games left and there are another 17 teams with 4 wins and a lot more with 3. I don't feel motivated enough to actually look at every team that still could technically be bowl eligible to see if they really have a shot.

I don't think we need to worry at all about being left out at 6-6, now we just have to go ahead and get that 6th win this weekend.

Based on last year....I would say that loss is minimal. Non BCS Bowl games pick who they want from eligible teams. (unless that criteria changed) It all comes down to the pecking order.

The KSU game or the NU game. Keep in mind that the Holiday Bowl has dropped in the pecking and licking order of B12 Bowls. Insight has actually moved passed them. However, it is a great bowl, destination, bowl name recognition.

It should be illegal to have bowls in crap holes like Detroit, Boise, Shreveport, Albuquerque, Birmingham. But, if ISU does go to Detroit, it wouldn't surprise me...we might as well get the tour of all the crappiest bowls finished before we actually start going to decent ones.

college footbal news doesnt have us going to a bowl game however
we will have to wait and see.
