CPR Fundraising
In light of the other thread on here, I was thinking about this and it may sound stupid, but is there any way we can set up a donation fund just to soley go to CPR and his staff's salary?
I am just a student, but I would be willing to drop $20 in the bucket for that. Take that multiplied by 2000 students and you have yourself $40,000. If donors could drop $100 on this or whatever they feel we could get a pretty good pool of money going just to keep increasing salaries to retain our staff. It's a start anyway.
Does this sound crazy or is it something that is do-able?

Re: CPR Fundraising
I'd do $20, maybe even $40 as a family. Have to double-check to make $40 work, but I'm willing to do the budget work on that.

We don't have the big donners so why don't we improvise and raise money creativly. These kinds of campainges can work. Just look how much money Obama raised two years ago. Instead of just cozying up to the big donners he went after the small dollars and raised more money then any other campaign ever.
I've always wanted to give to ISU, but I've always been really poor and haven't felt that my $25 a year would make a difference. However, if I knew that 100,000 other people were also giving a similar contribution I would feel better about it. Perhaps this is already happening...if so it needs to be publicized.

Re: CPR Fundraising
I have a better idea.
Lets start a donation for "Bowling in the End Zone to help recruit better to put a better product on the field to make more money to keep Paul Rhoads"

Re: CPR Fundraising
What about donations to the AD earmarked for coaching salaries?
I think that's how they locked down Jake at UNI, just not as a mass deal.
On another train of thought, it would be some story to show what we think of him to hear that his salary was donated by a mass movement of Cyclone fans.

Re: CPR Fundraising
Everyone just PM me the amount you want to donate and your credit card numbers. I'll take care of it from there.
