    Hang in there Austen

You represent everything that is good about a college athlete, and you have been a great representative of ISU. I pray that you make a full and speedy recovery. Hang in there.

You gotta feel for the young man. Nailed it right on the head. AA deserved better and it's a shame he won't get to play on senior day against Missouri.

AA, I'm hoping to see you play twice more... If not thank you for being a leader, dealing with the coaching changes, and playing as hard as you can every game.

Austin always makes you feel good when he talks, he's a natural leader of men, and a very emotional guy. We wish he could have better throws at time and at times you would want no one else. Thank You Austin and I wish you well.

I concur with all the previous sentiments. AA has always been a class act and left it all out on the field. I'll always be proud to call him a Cyclone.

    Re: Hang in there Austen

Austen has been one of my favorite cyclones for awhile. He's a hard-nosed, hard working, and hard running type of player that every Iowa state fan should love. Sure, he had his moments of inconsistency, but he was a great CYCLONE. Hearing that he won't play on senior day is the worst news I've heard in ahwile. I'm sure he'll be cheering damn loud on Saturday though.

    You da man Austen!
Hilton Coliseum was specifically built to hold in sound with a solid concrete structure, steel doors, and a crowd that sits just a few feet from the court. With a fan base that frequently ranks among the nations largest crowds, players from opposing teams, as well as Iowa State, have said that the floor has shaken due to the loudness of the crowd

    Re: Hang in there Austen

It will be sad if AA's career ends this way, but whether he plays again or not he will be remembered as a great representative of Cyclone football who gave his all every game, despite the obstacles he faced with coaching changes and injuries. He had some great games and great wins, and will always be one of my favorite Clones for the way he represented himself and our school.
