Thanks for the memories, Austen.
While his season didn't end how he would have liked, Austen has been a great representative for ISU and ISU Athletics the last five years. Thanks for the memories, #4, and best of luck with your future endeavors.

Thanks for everything, but damn it felt like he was here forever.

There's still one week left. Nothing official on AA has come out.

Anyway, yes, thanks to Austen. It is a shame he won't get seen out of Jack Trice the way he should next week or with a bowl game.

Re: Thanks for the memories, Austen.
He'll be a presence against MU even though he can't play. And he'll help JT prepare for the game. That's the thing about him.....I'm pretty sure he will be more concerned about how the team does then the fact that he can't play.

Re: Thanks for the memories, Austen.
Austen has been the face of our program during a huge period of transition and unrest. He has always handled himself well off the field and on, and statistically is one of the better QBs to ever play at ISU regardless of what anyone says about him. The was a tremendous ambassador for our school, and I'm proud to call him a Cyclone.

It's a simple game in which strategic beauty comes not from being surprised by some new clever trick, but from the sublime, routine brilliance of a master in his element. -

And also, I hope he looks into being a grad assistant. I think he could be a pretty solid coach.

Nice to see some of the fan base is still treating Brett like **** and will likely continue to treat Austen like **** with backhanded thank you's. It's sad, really.

I'm telling you. Dont give up hope on him yet. I'm taking this "report" with a grain of salt. I'll believe it when I hear it from the man.

Re: Thanks for the memories, Austen.
It'd be nice to see a video tribute of his career on senior day, since he (apparently) won't be able to hit the field. He's had some runs where he just steamrolled the tacklers and would not go down.

It sure looks like this report came after a conversation with CPR. I would much rather you be right on this.
