Williams: Colorado report card

Re: Williams: Colorado report card
Good write-up about a bad afternoon.
But these guys are still resilient. It honestly wouldn't surprise me to see them rebound one more time next week.

Really great comments about AA. He seems like a great young man, and if he can translate his tenacity into whatever he chooses to do, his best success is yet to come.

Re: Williams: Colorado report card
i would predict a win against mizzou if we had arnaud. you're right, this team is resilient and plays its best when their backs are against the wall.
but without AA..

Man, oh man, I sure hope people AND students show up on Saturday night. This team has done some pretty great things this year.
And these seniors have done a great job starting out the Rhoads era on a positive note. I would like nothing more than a stadium full of people to thank them.

Re: Williams: Colorado report card
I'm really, really feeling pain for Austen. He is such a great player and person that I hate to see for his football career to end like this. I couldn't have ever asked for someone to better represent the Cyclones and I wish him the best in wherever life takes him in the coming years. We will sorely miss him.
Edit: Sucks even more because I know he had hopes of continuing to play football at some level, and this injury could have been a death knell for that. Though to be honest I think he'd make a hell of a coach if he chooses to take that route.

Re: Williams: Colorado report card
Until this defeat did not realize how bad the talent level is on this ISU team compared to the rest of the conference. The only way the Cyclones can win is when they outcoach the opponent or when the other team loses focus. When the worst team in the conference dominates you, that says you had better step up the recruiting big time.

They're definitely not the worst team in the conference (certainly not from a talent standpoint), which is why they just let their coach go.

Tell me Mr. cyclonepride, who is the worst team in this conference talent wise?

Had Texas shown up and played with the same focus and energy we did, they'd have lost too
Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!!! In Accordance with Prophecy -

Maybe it was a difference in effort between the two teams? Looked like we mailed it in.
Call a spade a spade.
