I need to post a request to the feedback forum to add tv coverage info for bball and fbal games to the top of the main page.
what channel is it on for mediacom. I apologize but I am not at home and i looked on the online tv guide that I use and it is not showing up.
Thanks
Until we get a better TV deal, people need to stop bashing on others starting TV threads.
It's a FREAKING NIGHTMARE to try to figure out if ISU is going to be on TV unless you have DirectTV with sports pack. Some of you need some perspective on how ridiculous it is finding Big 12 sports outside Big 12 country.
Apparently I can't watch the game on cable in Chicago today because my Fox Sports (comcast sports) has a Blackhawks game tonight.
Looks like it's sports bar or pirate streaming for me. I get telling people who live an hour from Ames to just go to the game, but I live 5.5 hours away and going to two games a year already stretches me out with other commitments.
One thing I can say re: basketball is THANK GOD FOR ESPN3!!!!!!!! That's been the only positive development for watching ISU sports outside of Iowa for the past 8 years since I moved away.
Game Finder - DISH Network
Okay, probably 444, was just looking at my ipad guide and it said 418. :/
I don't understand the lack of help some people provide to this question....
I know it seems like a simple question, but in reality it isn't.
I have Directv and subscribe to the sports pack. This morning I searched for the game via the search function. The following stats are the result of that search...
20 Channels list the game
18 list the start time at 6:00 and 2 list it at 6:30
13 are in HD
7 are in SD
And there are a couple (+) that list a later replay of the game
I suspect some (many??) of the channels will black the game out, but there is no advanced info to know which ones. However, I am suppose to make a decision how to set my DVR....
Cylones.com lists: 671 (SD) and 671-1 (HD)
Those channels are not in the list returned by the guide search at the start time of the game. If I go direct to those channels in the on-screen guide for the time of the game, only 671 appears and it is listed as HD (671-1 does not even appear in the guide).
But yet, to some on here, it is a simple question and feel the need to chastize those who ask for more information.
At most I can set my DVR to record 2 channels. So, what channels should I pick? 671 is the closest to a exact match.
BTW...Thanks to those that provide helpful information.
