Colorado beating K-State by 9 at the half

23-14

Still only halftime, but damn, apparently Hawkins really was dragging the Colorado team down.

This also makes me feel better about this week. Last week was still horrible, we played like crap, and got blown out by a team that we should have beaten, but Colorado is apparently nowhere near as bad as they seemed.

Maybe the tradition of not giving up a four touchdown lead in the fourth quarter.

Yep, pretty much. That's why Colorado winning gives me more hope for tonight though. Still a horrible, horrible loss that was the lowest point of Rhoads' coaching career at ISU, but this shows Colorado was bad because of their coach, not because of their players.

Yes, but Nebraska is going to be a pretty tough test.

Also, does anybody have Hawkins on suicide watch after this turnaround the moment they dumped him?

maybe 7 days later will be the high point in CPR's coaching career. I think there is a chance for it to be.

Yep, I think Colorado's performance today shows that while we had a crappy, inexcusable game, Colorado is orders of magnitude better without Hawkins at the helm. That gives me a lot more hope of pulling off an upset today.

44-29 now. It isn't in the books yet but K-State would need to pull something out of their ***** to win this one.
