I love these players.

I agree. We might not have made it to a bowl game, but with the toughest schedule in the nation, we sure did do ISU proud. People can pile on a throw the team under the bus but 5 wins with this schedule is actually an accomplishment. I, for one, am still proud of this team and our coach!!

I agree. I love PR's passion. I didn't get to see or hear the OU debacle, but everytime I've seen them this year, they seem to give it their all.

i found myself wanting them to win more for them then for me tonight, which is probably the 1st time i've ever felt that way about 1 of my teams. sad they couldn't pull it out, but still some absolute great memories from this year.

I agree. However, the couple moments we had to take our program to the next level fell short. That's the only frustrating part.

Are you serious? Disappointing season if you ask me. Had chance for bowl elgibility 3 games ago. Face it we will never be good at football. FH TIME BABY!

Prior to the season, if future me came back in time and said we went 5-7, I would have said "Just as I expected." If future me went on to say that we'd go 5-7 while beating Texas and Texas Tech, I would have stopped, gone into a fit of laughter, and then shoved my future self back into his time machine and sent him back to where he belonged.

I can see how, in hindsight, that this season was a disappointment. It had the potential to be something really awesome after the Texas win, but it's hard not to be disappointed when it ends with a bowl so close in reach.

EDIT: I still LOVE LOVE LOVE the effort of our players out there this season. Utah and OU should have ended the season prematurely. But they kept fighting. And even though it didn't end the way we'd hoped, it was still a damn fine effort.

Your right on!! We got good quality people from the players to the staff, but we still got a long way to go, and I think we'll have a chance to get there with steady continually development.
