I wouldn't mind little bit of white accenting. Our away uni are tri-colored, but the home ones are not. I always wondered why our colors looked like the Chiefs during the DMac era. If you are going to emulate an NFL team, Washington is the closest to ISU's true colors.

I like the gold jerseys better than the white Jerseys. The white jerseys make our pants look ketchup colored to me.

I'd like to see our uniforms in the style that Minnesota and some other teams wear. I guess I would call it more of a modern look. Then have throwbacks to use against Iowa or for Mizzou.

Dear God no. Thankfully the solid fad color look has almost died out. The mid-majors seem to be the only ones still wearing them.

I normally like having a little fun with the uni's but I'm going to agree with you. They looked absolutely horrendous and I hope we never wear them again.

Try to find a newer picture, that one was from a few years ago. There newer version of there jerseys that they wore all gold werent that bad.

Yellow jerseys are nasty end of story.


Edit: ISU is gold anyway. Don't understand the yellow jerseys.

Its all personal opinion. Me, I like them, and I loved the gold unis with the cardinal pants from the Mizzou game. Bottom line to me is if the players get amped for it and Nike pays to make....why not? Add to that if they were to sell them and people would buy them, its just more revenue for the athletic department.

You're absolutely right. It's all personal opinion. Personally, I choose to associate the ugly jerseys with a shutout loss to Mizzourah that kept the Cyclones from going bowling.

The gold jerseys are okay maybe once a year. Other than that they are ugly as hell. I played soccer in high school and Kennedy had all yellow jerseys that looked stupid, I could have peed on them and they would have looked better.
