I'm a music guy, and North Texas has one of the best music schools in the whole country, so I already liked the school. Now, they're going to be my number #3 college to root for (behind ISU and UNI, where my mom went to school)!
Go DMAC! So happy to see him back as a head coach (assuming he takes the job).
I'm happy for him, but he really deserves a better head coaching job than that. Even a MAC team would be better.
A step up from coaching HS or DII/DIII which I always thought were his only options.
I wonder if he'll hire his brother Dave??
Seriously though, congrats if this is what you want to do Dan.

It looks like we are the only ones excited about this...their board is like 15/85 in favor of Mac. But in all honesty, their list of 8 was a little out of reach I would think.
Is this job a step up from being assistant head coach at Florida? I'm not sure where the motivation is to take this job...I thought the Toledo job would have been a good one for D-Mac. Anyway...what do I know...
Good luck to Mac at North Texas if you decide to take it. I will cheer for their team. I would hate to play them.
