I don't know about that. Sure there would have been more fans in attendance, but I think Mizzou-Iowa draws a better audience on TV. Not many TV sets outside of Nebraska and Iowa would be tuned into a Nebby-Iowa matchup. For all intents and purposes, Nebraska is NOW a Big 10 team.
Now Nebraska can beat up Washington and no one will care.

Re: Missouri vs Iowa in the Insight
So in order to stick it to Nebraska one last time, the Big 12 pushed Missouri to the Insight and that will give the bowl less attendance and ratings than a Nebraska-Iowa matchup. It also hurts the Holiday Bowl in that they get a rematch of earlier this year (Nebraska also went to that bowl last year) and their attendance and ratings will suffer as well.

Hell, we did it with a great scheme, and Iowa has much better players to do it with. I guarantee you that the Iowa coaching staff will be using our game tape, in part, to help them plan for Mizzou's offense.....certainly won't be using it to scheme against their defense.

Is that the real Missouri, or is it the Mizzou that went for almost 500 yards in beating the Big 12's best team, Oklahoma?
Which is the real Iowa, the one that pounded us and Mich State, or the one that looked pathetic against Indiana and Minnesota? -

It should be a pretty good matchup.

The first Nebby Wash game was not a good game in Wash.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

I disagree. Who outside of the states of Iowa and Nebraska and maybe some of the other Big 10 states would care about a Nebraska-Iowa matchup? Those are two Big 10 teams now.

Now Nebraska can beat up Washington and no one will care. You're kidding, right? Nebraska football is a national name brand from its strong tradition. Who the hell has heard of Missouri outside of the Big 12 and maybe the Big Ten. So you're saying the casual viewer in the Northeast or the West coast is going to tune into a Iowa-Missouri game over a Iowa-Nebraska game?
I get the hatred of Nebraska from some on here but have a little logic and knowledge of college football
