    Pitt Doesn't Want Rhoads

    I exchanged some tweets and private messages with a Pittsburgh writer I have gotten to know. Apparantly Rhoads' exit from Pittsburgh wasn't exactly what you would call 'smooth' and Rhoads really isn't a popular name among fans or boosters... Take it ad you will, but I trust my guy.

    Yeah, this reminded me of a time a while back when I visited a Pitt message board. I was surprised at how much they disliked Coach Rhoads. It's definitely good for us.

    I think confidence is the wrong word to use, even faith would be the wrong word. Just have to hope he sees Iowa State as the best fit and a place he would like to stick around. Everyone obviously loves the guy.

    If I were him, I'd bolt. I didn't even dislike Chiz for taking the better deal (definitely think he could have handled it better given his position and salary).

    I wasted some time reading the ESPN article and there were a few PITT fans who mentioned that Coach Rhoads was their #1 guy.
