Supposedly this kid scored a 13 on the ACT, so it's more than likely that he's not going to make grades. Seems like a sign and place to me.

I wondered why Notre Dame hadn't show much interest...that may be why.

his scout profile does say that his retake scores havent been reported and that he has a 2.5 GPA so i figure he should be able to get in. for athletes, it really isnt all that difficult to get into school.

At Iowa State, at least, they are really allowed very limited leeway for qualifying. Basically, if an athlete is borderline, they will get in based on their athletics, but anyone who flat out misses the benchmarks set by Admissions is SOL, regardless if they are the #1 prospect in the nation.

I think they just have to get by the clearinghouse at ISU. Some school have limited spots where they will allow minimums but only a certain amount and other have to meet a higher requirement, but I think ISU is pretty lenient.
