    Just heard that Sam Tautolo, a 6-foot-3, 295 offensive lineman (center) out of Saddleback C.C. in California has committed to the good guys.

    Just got off the phone with Sam. He will be here for second semester classes and will have two years to play. Chose ISU over an offer from Arkansas State. He plays center. It will be nice to add this depth to the OL. I'll have a full story for you all tomorrow.

    my guess is he does start next year. usually the only reason you go after a juco prospect. just because u need someone to step in at a postion. unless someone else on the online switches postions, i dont see redshirt freshman tom farnok starting if front of him.

    I think he has a good chance of starting. He is a C/G. IIRC, he was a 1st team Preseason Juco All American and one of the best Juco OL in the country.

    But it is Juco and it can be hit and miss in projecting. Sometimes they are good, sometimes not.
