I'll give Tiller a 5% chance to start. But we are really in trouble if none of our QB's can beat him out. I know he will open the spring as the starter, but I can't see him coming out as a starter... at least not at QB.
I think you've got this backwards. You're giving the players who have been in the system the shortest amount of time and who have never taken snaps in a real game the best odds of starting. While you may not have liked the performance of the players in those real games, those snaps are far more important than practice snaps.
I don't think I'm alone when I say I'd like to see more and more planets fall under the ruthless domination of our solar system.
I think one thing that hasn't been mentioned could really be the deciding factor. We have discussed this topic in deep detail but one thing has been missed by all of you. With the seemingly small chances he ever plays any RB for us, would Bo WIlliams be best served trying to become our QB? I think it could work.
I asked Sed Johnson point blank to his face about 2 weeks ago who would be throwing him the ball next year. He told me that it would be Tiller because he had a good relationship with Coach Herman.
Of course this was before Steele commited.
sorry, but at this level you don't get to start because the coach likes you. you start because you give the team the best chance to win. when you lose, you get fired. i doubt herman is willing to start someone not capable simply because they have a good relationship.
just my two cents, but if i were sed. j. i would be ****** about you dropping my name with such a loaded statement. most people probably wouldn't appreciate that.
I think your percentages are way off, at least for Tiller and Capello. Makes no sense to think that the one QB who has started and won games has a 0% of staring Game 1 next year. Really makes no sense that you would have this season's 3rd-string QB at 20%, but Tiller who was clearly ahead of him on the depth chart the entire season at 0%. If Capello was better than Tiller he wouldn't have been behind him on the depth chart the entire season.
