IOWA STATE’S VAN DER KAMP FRESHMAN ALL-AMERICAN

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State punter Kirby Van Der Kamp has been named to Rivals.com first-team freshman All-American football squad.
Van Der Kamp leads the nation’s freshman punters, averaging 45.17 yards per kick. His average ranks second in Iowa State single-season history and 12th nationally this season. The West Des Moines native was the only freshman named to one of the AP all-Big 12 Conference teams.
