This is the type of outside receiver we need. Not quite as big as Hamilton was but a decent amount of straight line speed and looks to have good hands and body control. He doesn't seem to be all that shifty, but I don't think he needs to be to be on the outside.
Watched his junior year highlights on youtube and he seems to have very soft hands. He has that deceptive easy long gate so it doesn't look like he's running very hard but he is pulling away from people.
Quenton seems to be a very reliable receiver. Good hands. Consistently averaging 5-8 pass receptions per game. He would be a good commitment IMO. If I thought we had a chance at talking Kori Babineaux into leaving the west coast to come to ISU, I would likely prefer him as a wide out receiver. Has a lot of size. Close to 6'4" and 210. No blazing speed, but again has very good hands and knows how to run routes and get open. Kori would have the added benefit (from a size standpoint) that he could eventually move into a receiving TE position. I could very much see him as a similar receiver in the mold of Colin Franklin (by his junior year).
