Re: ***Devondrick Nealy highlight video thread***
That was pretty impressive. It'd be awesome to get him, and I wouldn't mind seeing him become a punt returner/slot receiver for us if the RB is still as much of a logjam as it currently is. The only negative thing I saw is that he keeps his pad level real high but that is easily correctable.

Obviously noting final until LOI comes in on signing day next month.

Re: ***Devondrick Nealy highlight video thread***
So not meant to be a Nealy criticism, but I would love to know the circumstances of the run that begins about the 1:31 mark of the first video. He makes some nice moves at line of scrimmage to break away and is on his way to a long td run when around the 10 yard line he inexplicably runs out of bounce. Not sure what was up with that.
Very talented, and great to have him join the Cyclones

Kid seems to have an unbelievable ability to change direction, and a great burst after doing so.

The more i see the hs videos, the more they dont really impress me. When we sent my sons videos in, they were powerful too, but when the kids get to the collegiate level, its an entirely different ballgame. What I saw here in there were good line blocking for him. Not taking anything away, but when they get to this level, the guys are much bigger, faster, and stronger. And oh ya...more committed. The kids coming in dont look as good when they get up here as they did on their recruiting videos. i know...my son was the same way.

He sets blocks up cwell and has some patience. That all goes along with his field vision.

impressive to say the least
Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience. -

devondrick is an incredible athlete, and from those highlights he shows incredible field vision, speed, and ability to change direction.
also.. did your son play high school ball in iowa? if so, huge difference in level of competition

I dont see a RB when I watch these, however I do see a very good DB.
NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section. -

Highlight footage can be entertaining but for me the real meat is in who else is recruiting the player and who offers.
