Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
CPR can put this in the large, framed, lighted case in the locker room where we put these predictions every year.

Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
So every year we will surprise.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
i don't think that there is a lot of difference between ISU and KU, TT, KSU, BU and for that matter MU without their good QB. It is easy to pick ISU last, but I just don't see it happening. CPR is just a good coach that will find a way to win games.

Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
How about that team that finished last in Texas, Can ISU beat them early at Jack Trice
-
Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
That's a pretty ****** writeup.

Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
all three coaches have proven to be underrated
What, exactly, does that mean??? Talk about worthless gobbledegook.
We got a new Marshall here in town, and his name's Paul Rhoads, and the times, they is a'changin'.

Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
I stopped buying preseason magazines a long time ago. They usually have half the information wrong, and you get the distinct impression that they spend about 27 seconds on each team not named Florida, Alabama, USC, etc..

Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
Thanks for the laugh... really needed that!! Athlon is a total joke... hyping they're the most "accurate" over the past five years, give me a break... Problem with this type of publication is that they don't do the picks themselves. Give me Phil Steele any day of the week, at least he's got the guts to do it all himself and he's usually way more honest than the other rags like Athlon. I'd be willing to bet you we've been picked last in the North for a good ten straight years, cause they only know the top ranked teams and pay lip service to anyone else... see the write up for KSU, KU, and ISU's lack of coverage, what a joke!

Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
I dont even really care about this. Just more reasons for this fan base to look at things like the glass is half empty............
CYCLONE.................................POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
If ISU gets lucky with Jantz at QB, I think ISU can go to a bowl game. If the QB play turns out like I think, dead last is about right. We will battle KU for that. Will ISU stop RG3?

wins hopefully against Baylor, KU, KSU. and then either Tech or Okie State. Isn't Griffin back for Baylor? If so he will give us fits. I agree on KU/KSU. OSU will be a tough one.

Re: Athlon early 2011 Predictions
Wow. I am quite stunned. This has never happened before.
