Re: Nate Cruise
Looks like a "smart" FB player is right. Special Teams or possibly safety, but not sure he has the speed for that.

You realize that's not saying much, and is probably the reason he doesn't have an offer. Jamie Burrow the starting MLB for Nebraska in their last national championship game.(they lost but he was a stud). 96 State runner-up team.

Sounds good, but this staff hasn't been chasing guys in Iowa with better measurables, so there must be something here. By that I mean Ebertowski. The kid may be a head case, but at 6-1, 210, and the fastest kid in the state as a junior(and he looks like the fastest on the field as well) you could do something with that. Must be more to his story....

Re: Nate Cruise
This kid has a very impressive highlight film. However, with his size and speed, he probably isn't a D-1 scholarship worthy player. He would be an exceptional walk on as the kid seems to go 100% at all times. If he could improve his speed, he could earn a scholarship playing safety. Would be one hell of a special teams player down the road. I hope he walks on.

Wow, pretty impressive video. He just explodes to the ball. Looks like a safety at the next level. What's his 40 time?

Supposedly in addition to his D1 FCS offers, he had a D1 FBS offer from Air Force but apparently didn't want to serve in the military. Austin Ebertowski - Yahoo! Sports -
