If Herman were to leave, then perhaps. It helps that our coach has a defensive background so he would have less butting of heads with Leach. Also, when Herman came here, I thought a saw an article talking about the offensive line using a similar blocking scheme as TTech so the transition might not be too bad.
But, thankfully we have Herman so this isn't needed.

Not a chance, the last thing this team needs is more change on the coaching staff. Have to give Herman a couple more years. Now if Herman took another job, then I would consider it.

At this point I would be uncomfortable about hiring him as OC, because I think he would fly the coop as soon as a better gig came along.
However, as I've posted before, I would love to bring him on as a consultant, and have him look at the offense, particularly what's going on with the wide receivers. This past season, ISU had the 104th rated passing offense in the country, and that was down from the previous year. Herman is still pretty young, and there may be some things he could use some help with at the Big 12 level.

Not sure about Leach but certainly agree with the writer's opinion about our crappy offense and last year's disappointment.

Bring him in as Asst. Head Coach/Co-offensive Coordinator. Having a guy with his knowledge around would only help Tom H grow. Then he moves on and Tom has picked his brain and the whole staff gets to see him work his magic on offense.
