"We embrace that challenge and what it presents to us. I’m going to approach all 12 games this way: We’re going to win them all. If we prepare and then go out and execute, we’re going to win all 12. Now how many are we going to end up with at the end of the year? I don’t know, and you’re right, I won’t put a number on it."- Paul Rhoads on having the toughest schedule in the Big 12 -

While we are talking projects. I think I have a decent project for us.
Broderick Lee Brodrick Lee - Yahoo! Sports
He played for former Cyclone DB and UNI assistant coach Atif Austin at Tarpon Springs this past season. I'm not sure of his status, but I think he could be a decent invited walk on or possible Grey Shirt.

Re: new name for 2011 still
He's like a human condor. A giant wingspan and appears to have nice athleticism. Put some weight on those sticks and I could see him developing into a decent D1 player.

My thoughts exactly. Wouldn't hurt to give him a shot. He'll definately redshirt and probably won't play until he is a soph, maybe a jr. He NEEDS to put on some pounds. 205 is less than I weigh and he is 7 inches taller, and I am a pretty normal build.
Looks like a decent project though.
Yep, this thread has just been pwned. -
Re: new name for 2011 still
I saw this on Wednesday and my guess is he was a back up if we lost either of Irving/Lemke/Brun

Re: new name for 2011 still
Here is another guy name, sounds like a long shot because he's a late qualifier. And he may wait for "a better school." Doubt he makes it here with that attitude. Winter Park DB Dominique Rouse eyes Iowa State via Ellsworth JC - OrlandoSentinel.com
Dominique Rouse will call Iowa Falls home … at least for now.
Rouse, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound cornerback from Winter Park High, signed with Ellsworth Community College in Iowa on Wednesday, but his National Signing Day decision may not be final.
“My plan is to go up to juco since my coaches say I’m going to be a late qualifier,” Rouse said. “I’ll only go up to the juco school for a semester. So then I know next semester, I’m going to transfer to Iowa State or if a better school comes along, I’ll go with that. But for now it’s looking like it’s going to be Iowa State.”

I think that this kid will continue to struggle with putting on functional weight. His hips just don't seem to have the width to carry decent football weight. Most of his highlight clips were free lance moves where he juked around a defender rather than first stuffing a gap and then making a play. This will probably keep him from being a starter at the D1 level because I don't see him being a factor against the run. This leaves him as a 3rd and long situational pass rusher where he could still fill a role provided that you have enough depth with every down type guys.
