Seems like a team player to me.

    Re: RB

To Yes13: From that video, I see a guy who is anxious to play football. I'm not saying he's PLANNING on jumping ship or that he's not dedicated to the cause of winning games here. I'm saying that if he thinks he's going to get a chance to play more football somewhere else, I could see him making a move. And that's fine, because I want Paul Rhoads and Co. recruit guys that want to play and win.

Let the record show that I think he'll be the guy come August, and none of this will matter.

You're right. All opinions are made up. I saw some things and I made an observation based on what I saw. My apologies if that's somehow not a proper approach to posting on a forum.

If you disagree with what I said, please state your case. I'm listening. Er... reading.

    Re: RB

I don't think there is any doubt Shontrell is the guy... it would be nice if we can RS both Nealy and Strandrad.. so we have four years left of both then two more years of Johnson after this year. We have some good talent at RB..

I would agree that Hollis will be in the mix for the job.

As far as the actual guys I bet Johnson, Hollis, and White split snaps something like 60/30/10
This is what I would like to see happen. Most of the carries go to Johnson and Hollis. Nealy gets used in lots of different ways to carry/catch the ball. It is nice to have a group of guys we can rely on, especially compared to 2009 when it was ARob and by himself.

While I don't know is theres any validity to it, it doesn't seem like too far of a stretch that a guy in that situation would leave.
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan.

hollis got screwed last year because the staff promised shontrelle johnson that he would get to play as a freshman due to promises in recruiting. hollis accepted taking a redshirt last year due to the promises of johnson getting the nod to play as a freshman.i think hollis will be the surprise this coming year on offense..why did you leave this kid out of your poll??????

I wouldn't say he got screwed at all. He didn't waste a year of eligibility on 35 carries. I'm not saying Shontrelle wasted a year either as he returned kicks as well. But Hollis got to spend a year in the wt room, learn the system and still has 4 years to compete sounds like a great opportunity to me. I guarantee if it comes down to Shontrelle and Hollis this year for carries the decision will be about performance and not recruiting promises.

Best yet if we were facing a really good pass rush we could leave our Woody and Johnson in the backfield to plug up double the penetration
Personally I dont like the 2 back look. If you want a guy to block id rather have a tight end in. And we can put enough guys in motion by putting rbs at the slot like the coaches mentioned doing more of this year. Start them in the backfield and motion them out or start them at slot and bring them into the backfield depending on what the d looks like. I see us doing this a lot this year sounds like the coaches want rbs wide and pass them bubble screens.
