O'Connol with an impressive 37.5 inch verticle. Not bad

I hope he makes it somewhere. Definitely one of my favorite Cyclones of all time.

Pretty solid Still don't know why Franklin didn't get the senior accolades he should have. Just looked at these myself. Compare them with those numbers available from this years combine.
Franklin ranks 1st in reps on bench (high at combine was 27 by Gantt of Mich St.) and ranks 6th on the vertical (top 6 were 42.5, 37.5, 37, 36.5, 36, 35.5, 34.5)
Edit: Broad of 10' 4" puts him 2nd of those at the combine! 1st bench, 2nd in broad and 6th in vertical! This is for TE's btw.
Any player that ranks in the top 5ish in at least two categories at the combine is a good prospect. And those are the only ones they've reported so far! I think everyone will realize what us Cyclone fans have realized, Franklin is a beast!

He is no Allen Reisner

Re: Franklin having nice Pro Day
Let's not forget he was 2nd in TE receptions for the year as well.

Pretty solid Nice job on the bench there. In the 2010 NFL combine only 1 prospect at TE beat that number. 30 was the highest.
Hell.... there were only 10 D-Tackles that beat 28. Impressive.

Re: Franklin having nice Pro Day
Not to mention, probably one of the best hands also.

No, honestly, I think Franklin is going to surprise some people, whether he gets drafted or not (though I suspect he will). He's a pretty good athlete, and has great hands.
Does anybody know his 40 time? If he posts a good time, I'd guess he'd come of the board no later than the 5th round.

Re: Franklin having nice Pro Day
I have said it before, he will be one of the best TEs in this class.
