Jantz looks (to me) like he might struggle a bit with accuracy

Granted it is only one video, but in one of the QB videos on Cyclones.com he clearly throws inaccurate passes on 3-4 occasions and that is with no pressure whatsoever.

No doubt I am reading too much into it, but I was concerned about his completion percentage in JC when I saw his stats. It was lower than Arnaud's completion percentage. Watching the video and seeing him overthrow some receivers did not give me the warm fuzzy.

I'm sure it's nothing, but just a first observation given his past statistics and a first glance at him in a 2 min practice video.

He's training his throws with new receivers on new plays, no biggie. Come game time, and hes still doing it, then we have a problem.

Not at all what i saw... he has by far the strongest arm, and has great velocity... receivers will get used to it. they dropped a few from him that hit them in the hands. to me he looked by far the best thrower in the group. we shall see. no way to tell until full contact starts, and games.

Of the QB's on the vid, clearly Jantz looked like he had the best arm, footwork and accuracy. Of course, its a very brief vid so it means very little at this point.

I'm not saying I did or didn't have a similar opinion, but sorry isuno1fan, probably should shown a little restraint before starting this thread. You know its too early. But, you couldn't resist, could you? :)

Yeah... I didn't see this at all. He threw a couple really nice deep balls (better than I've seen out of a Cyclone QB in awhile). I saw one wild throw out of Jantz, but that's not enough to get nervous, IMO.

If he wets the bed with the lights on, then I'll worry/assume he won't amount to much.

Again...I qualified my opinion by indicating it is too early, but it's the first thing that popped in my head. When I looked at his JC stats, they were tremendous except for his completion percentage. That raised a very small red flag with me wondering how that would translate to the B12.

The first and only few shots of him I saw, I saw a strong arm, but I also saw him clearly float a few passes. Sounds alot like someone that just graduated.

I always supported Arnaud if that is what you are referring to. I knew there weren't any better choices.
