it is exciting to see jevohn miller in the two deeps
putting the buggy ahead of the horse here, but how can one not imagine him as the next klein or knott? underrated diamond in the rough. too bad his last name doesn't also end in K. what a racial slur we would put on the field as our lb corps. the kkk. on top of that they are all white
joking of course. but that dude is huge for an incoming lber. outside of him and our starters the other backups my look like toothpicks next the those 4. i just hope he doesn't end up like travis fergusson. have the body of a big 12 player from day and then not see meaningful minutes until his senior year.

I see him as a future DE. Not sure why they are bothering with him at LB.

People said the same thing when we signed Jake Knott. That he would be a DE. Well coaches did a good job keeping him at LB

The coaches know much better than me, no doubt. I still bet he ends up at DE though.

Re: it is exciting to see jevohn miller in the two deeps
I see him on the DL as well. And I'd guess the coaches are fully aware that he may move to that spot...nothing wrong with indulging the kid if he wants to be a LB in his first spring. Heck, its even possible that he WILL end up staying at LB...but it seems MORE likely that he's destined to outgrow that position.

Also, Jevohn isn't in the two deeps. He's behind Knott and Mattison.

Ummm...maybe because the only reason he's listed in the two deep....is that every single scholarship linebacker is listed in the two deep?
...that dude is huge for an incoming lber.
I wouldn't count on that listed 6'4" 236 size being "real". He was listed by his HS at 6'2" 225, was listed by ISU on Signing Day at 6'1" 225--and I have a hard time believing that he grew three inches and put on eleven pounds in a month.

Re: it is exciting to see jevohn miller in the two deeps
If he fills out at 245 he'll stay at LB. If he can grow to 260+ he'll move to DE.

Unless he was measured at a combine, those recruiting numbers are estimates. I would believe the spring camp numbers, as they actually do measure and weigh the kids.

I know most schools do, but our DE's have been pretty small lately.

I know most schools do, but our DE's have been pretty small lately. And they also haven't been all that good.
