Alarson, I'm not ranting at you personally. So many people seem more concerned with maintaining our tailgating tradition than building our football tradition.
Eh, i make it into all the actual games, but i'll admit i'm about 50/50 about making it into the stadium for the spring game.

This may sound strange but I would actually like to pay... if there were any way to throw a free will donation type thing up I would throw in a $20.
I know it's bad to make comparisons but NE charges $10 to get in to theirs spring game and sells out an 85,000 seat stadium...that would bring in...if my math is right...yup, $850,000 to their program! Not quite analogous to our situation but still I think a lot of people would throw in some dough!
I would imagine you could donate to the grid iron club that day ! Helps the football team!!
Last year on Saturday, it had to have been in the 70's and sunny. It was awesome. The year before that it was decent weather, 60's and sunny. And 3 years ago, it was cold and snowed. 4 years ago, it was awesome out. Sunny and 70's, maybe even 80's. And 5 years ago, it was the same as 4 years ago. I can't remember how they were before that.
What is the point of my post? Not really sure.

My wife and I always love to be around the campus.. so this sounds like a great day ...... football, parades, carnivals, lots of people out and about, our kids, and lots of other cyclone supporters.... combine all that with a beautiful campus and it should be a great day.

I've never been up to Ames to see the spring game, but I'm going to try this year. Kind of depends on my unborn yet already uncooperative child and whether or not he decides to show up on time.
