Agreed. This guy could turn pre-schools into gas chambers as long as he can blow up a double team and break Landry Jones's legs.

If he can play this year... then all of the sudden the DT position has some serious depth. I never thought I'd ever say that!
Bring in Henry Simon, along with the Pompey... that's not too shabby.
His JuCo lists him at 6'3 290 lbs. That immediately puts him at the same level as our curreny players, size-wise. That's a pretty good frame. Like CPR said in the position videos on cyclones.com, thet want a solid 4 man rotation at DT. Can't have too much depth.
It's hard to tell much from the video due to the angle, and questions about the quality of the competition, so I'll list some things that I saw and hope they translate well to the Big 12.
1) appears to get good penetration for an interior lineman.
2) appears to have a good motor. always a good trait for a DT.
3) hits like a truck. Not a lot of ball carriers falling forward after making contact.
I'm not going to fool myself into thinking that a guy signed this late is likely to be a game changer, but it seems like he might have some potential to get some PT which is pretty much what we should be hoping for at this point.
We need big bodies and this kid fits the bill. Hopefully he has his head screwed on correctly and can make it to campus.
See who recruited him at SDSU?
He could've been released from his LOI due to Hoke leaving.
