Missouri in late 1970's under Coach Bruce. They were a top 10 team if I remember right.

I would guess Nebraska for most wins and losses.

Im guessing most wins is against Iowa and most losses is against Nebraska

Guys, in the last two questions I'm not looking for a specific team, I'm looking for a specific ranking. Example (made up): ISU has beat the #17 team 5 times. The answer I'm looking for is the ranking itself, the number.

(2) 42 at #7 Colorado, 1996.
(3) 504 yards at #1 Nebraska, 1983.
(4) 198 yards by #6 Oklahoma, 1963.

The answer above with Missouri in the 70's being the highest ranked opponent ISU has beaten on the road is correct. ISU beat the 7th ranked Tigers 21-17 in 1976.
The 2002 Florida State game is the second most yards all time against a top ten team with 443. The most yards against a top 10 team was in a loss though...a behind the wood shed kind of loss.
