i think seneca wallace was better than money. was tim dobbins a juco?

As was Rubin, but neither were 4-stars.

Bass was a 4 star Juco

if princeton jackson was such a great JUCO prospect at LB, how come he couldn't end up at a better program than UNLV? It wasn't just our coaches who passed on him, every BCS program did too. Our coaches like what they have in the pipeline at LB and didn't need a juco lb with only two years to play who'd have to spend his first year learning the system and has prior academic problems and might contribute only his senior year as a reserve LB. Better off giving out scholarships to kids like Miller and Smith so we have something in the pipeline after Knott & Klein. Losing Boyd is a setback, but Miller and Smith are the two more athletic linebackers and have higher ceilings and if we had to lose one of the three, we lost the right one. Boyd's scholarship allowed us to offer some DL prospects which is a greater immediate need.

Yeah, something always seemed of with P Jackson. By all accounts he's a very talented athlete but he had almost no attention coming out of JuCo. He only got a look by ISU because we had recruited him previously.
