Let us hope someone else eventually emerges. He is not a Big 12 caliber QB.

When Arnaud was the quarterback all we did was beg for Tiller, now when Tiller looks like he might be the guy we are begging for Jantz before a down has been played.

I was gonna say, don't speak for everyone. Arnaud was an average quarterback. Tiller is so far below average it isn't even funny. Anybody that thought Tiller was a better quarterback than Arnaud was a total moron.

Fact remains, a Tiller lead offense has never scored any points. He can't throw to save his life so the box gets stacked and he can't run to save his life either. We are in deep **** if Tiller is the starting quarterback. The same QB that mustered a whopping 13 offensive points against UNI. 9 against Nebraska and 6 of those took a fake punt to get. The only team Texas A&M held under 35 points (10) in Big 12 play two years ago. A goose egg against Missouri last year. I can't actually think of one sustained drive we've had with Tiller taking the snaps. Was Colorado a short field?

I don't think we'll settle on an all game QB until about game 3. I see them switching series unfortunately the first couple games.

He had one TD toss against Neb. in our win at their place but that may be it.

Yep, that's the one off the fake punt. The drive was "sustained" but not due to the quarterback. Wasn't the TD pass to Jake Williams the play after the fake punt?

I'm going to reserve judgment until Saturday.

I have to disagree with the assertion of Arnaud being an average QB. The statement is correct if the word "below" is inserted.

Everyone didn't expect this? I don't think it shows any indication who's going to be the #1 this fall. If Tiller is still the starter then, then we can start to worry.

Re: Sounds like Tiller will most likely be #1 going into summer ball.

Fact is Tiller has had two years in this offense. If he doesnt come out of spring ball as the clear #1, head and shoulders about the rest...well then that just tells you that he's not cut out to be a Big XII QB. I hope thats not the case because I'd rather have two QB's that can get the job done, but Tiller has yet to impress me.

The other thing I think people are forgetting is the option read has been a big part of our offense the last 2 years with AA. Tiller has never run the read play that well, and with our stable of RB's. I hope that who ever starts can so we can get some open shots downfield.

This is normal. See how the first three games go and if it is not working, then Jantz comes in. Obviously, we have no outstanding star at qb, just good players. AA was just a good player with a lot of heart.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Gotta love it! Last year Arnaud makes a poor throw and the chants of bring in Tiller begin, Tiller hasn't even thrown this year and Herman has said he has improved his accuracy and people don't want him. As much as I thought Jantz or someone else would take the job, since everyone thinks they are so good, I'm impressed Tiller has held onto the job. That is either saying we are worse than we thought at QB or we are much better.
