I would like to see it used for game stats that stay on all the time. I hate the way they are put on a scroll on the side boards. I like to see how many first downs , yards rushing and passing for each team.

I'm a big fan of this idea. It would be great to have a spot in the stadium to get a ton of stats.
Let's fast forward 2 years and the south endzone is bowled. Is there a video board there? Is it THIS board or a new one?
Personally I'd like to see a stats ribbon board and/or a scores ticker running across the bowl.
My preference is to renovate existing board. My seats are on the south east side of the stadium. I would like to have the old scoreboard on that end. especially when it comes to replays. Even if we bowl in the south I can't see a upper deck for several years.
The need for a new video display and sound system has been discussed in recent years because the current system, purchased in 2002, is outdated. The current board will be used in some capacity (such as game statistics and other in-game messages) in its present location for the foreseeable future.
Yes I remember also hearing it would be moved to another facility at ISU. But I could see them keeping it around an extra year or two until they bowl in the endzone.
