A really interesting (to me) bit here from Rhoads regarding the WR's:
We went into spring looking for six guys who we were confident in playing. I think we have our two-deep in guys right now. You’ve got returning players Josh Lenz, Darius Reynolds and Darius Darks. And then you’ve got some new blood in Jarvis West, Aaron Horne and Albert Gary. That’s not to say that Chris Young, Keith Blanton and Donnie Jennert couldn’t make plays for us. But I think the first six are the guys that have established themselves in our two-deep right now.
This story is from the same writer at Fox Sports Southwest (Brian Smith) that wrote a really nice "Spring football questions" article before the Spring Game.
He seems like a really good writer; as in-depth on ISU as I've seen from a non-local writer (and better than most of them, honestly). Writers like this are hard to find, and I've bookmarked him (no, I don't know him). Now, his haircut in his picture is another story...
It's nice to see guys like Smith and CW bring some quality "new blood" to Big 12 coverage.
Thanks for posting, good read. And you're right, I've been pretty impressed with Brian Smith's research and articles for Fox Sports. Doing a good job so far. But man, that haircut...
In the article CPR did say that they came out with no major injuries, I would call Knotts injury major... But we should have him back, hows he doing by the way?
I'm not trying to be difficult, it comes naturally....

Should be back in about 4-6 weeks. Can lift and condition without using his right arm.
