    I hate bye weeks and now we have two of them. I know it is good for the team to heal up, but ruins my weekend in the Fall when we aren't playing.

    When I read the first line of the story on cyclones.com as to why the schedule is being moved around, I'm completely in favor of it.

    The Big 12 Conference announced today that Iowa State's final two 2011 football games -- both on the road -- will be moved to different dates to facilitate possible television opportunities.

    the bye weeks are huge i think. Especially the one before playing OSU when we play them on ESPN. Givin the extra time to prepare for them and Texas is really big i think

    I really like this. The longer season is nice to allow for more rest.

    There is also the possibility that Farmageddon will become a big deal with it being on conference championship weekend. And the added TV potential is great.
