If it's true that he is looking to play right away, I don't know how much ISU should really want him. May be more trouble than he's worth. A guy coming in expecting to start can cause some problems when that doesn't happen. Is he really going to play ahead of Shontrelle? Honestly, I thought that DeVondrick Nealy looked better on film than Blakely.

Blakely actually fits our style of offense. If he wants to come here, I'm all for it. If he's good enough to start as soon as he's eligible, beit this year or next, awesome. He is very good and there is a good cahnce that he can be better than Shontrelle and Nealy, no matter how much we like them.
I saw this tweet earlier and I wonder if it has anything to do with this kid.

Too bad Danny Mac wasn't still at UF to put in a good word for us.
He applied for a waiver and expects it to be granted. He also did enroll early.
Frak-Are you sure he didn't participate. I was going to give him credit for at least giving it a try. Also, Nealy isn't nearly as big as Blakley. He's stout.
This is a player I think you take no matter what your RB depth consists of. I don't think he'll come here but I thought it was interesting we were on that list. I have to think he gave that name due to having two classmates coming here.
Shoulder injury/surgery per multiple news stories about his transfer.

Blakely, who did not participate in spring practice after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder in January, was expected to compete for playing time this season with Chris Rainey, Jeff Demps, Mike Gillislee and Mack Brown.

Thanks for the info.
Since he did not participate in spring drills I think that will help him in getting his waiver.
Man I would love for this kid to pick the Cyclones. We would love to have him.
It also would have an impact on future recruiting in FL for ISU if a stud like him likes CPR that much. That kind of visibility is great.
