Re: Mike Blakely
Sounds like ISU was one of the 10ish schools he was released to. Shows at least SOME interest?
From Josh Newberg's twitter.
There were about 10-11 schools on Mike Blakely's release from #UF. Some of them were: #FIU, #USF, #UCF, #IowaState, #Temple and #Clemson.

Re: Mike Blakely
I made a thread about this yesterday. I was reading the updates from Tigerdroppings (one of the funniest sites up there with shaggybevo), they had info from a Florida insider board saying he would go JUCO then transfer to Auburn, but that was before they thought he would get resctricted from certain schools. Out of those schools you would think it would come down to ISU, Clemson, and USF. I know Clemson can recruit their ***** off so he might be scared of their depth. Our RB recruits probably don't look that impressive to an outsider. I have no idea what kind of offense USF runs. I feel good about us having his teammates on our side. Also none of our backs are the type to carry it 30 times a game there's plenty of time for 3 backs in our offense if we do indeed use them in the slot.
If we actually have a legit shot at this guy we HAVE to try. He is very impressive. You're supposed to recruit over players, not just replace them, to improve a program. Shontrelle, Nealy, and Blakley in the same backfield is a **** load of talent.
