Looks like he has some decent offers. Hopefully we can get him

Don't like our chances. Strong has really cleaned up in Florida the last few years.

He forgot Quenton Bundrage.
I don't know about anyone else, but I would much rather recruit Florida kids away from the Big East than recruit Texas kids away from Texas schools.

Problem with FL kids is that no matter what, you are pretty much picking after the entire SEC has passed. But, one thing I've noticed is that FL kids are willing to leave the state a little easier. TX kids are more momma's boys where some would rather play for Houston or SMU than leave TX and play in the Big 12.
I love CPR's recruiting philosophy though. Battle for the Iowa kids (and select MN, NE, MO, OK kids) and send the rest of the staff down to FL and TX. Then let Bobby Eliot comb the Cali JUCOs.

Good points. Ever since I've followed ISU recruiting, it seems like FL kids are the most likely not to qualify. Can be bad obviously if they never make it here, but we can also benefit from being in the running and taking chances on talented guys we otherwise maybe couldn't get if they were for sure qualifiers (Troy Davis, Haughton, Pompey, etc).
