OL Recruiting: Kyle Dodson

I see in Rivals that ISU has offered big offensive lineman Kyle Dodson, a four star prospect from Cleveland. I don't recall ISU spending much time there since perhaps McCarney's first signing class or so. I assume this is a Bill Bliel connection?

Interestingly, with KO a senior, it would seem to me that they are "selling" not only his open starting spot, but whatever notoriety he gathers through the season, post season, and '12 NFL Draft as well. I.e., if Keleche is indeed a first rounder, it helps to establish the program as an NFL talent producer--similar to what what Coach Fred has been selling since to moment that he stepped onto campus.

Wow I would be thrilled if we could land him... Some big time schools have offered... Im not going to hold my breath....

Not holding my breath, no, but think that it's a very positive accomplishment just getting notice from a top prospect in the heart of Ohio. One step at a time!

I'm not sure what you mean by "getting notice". Does it say anywhere that he's considering ISU? Looks like we are in a group of about 25 schools or so who have offered him with no one at "High" interest level.
