I'd agree with you but our program isn't to the point we can compete for that level of talent. As stated this would only be for a few years and a bridge until CPR gets a big season under his belt. Even after CPR establishes our program it wouldn't hurt to sign 1 or 2 JC's IMO.Quote:

If my memory is correct, Coach Mac signed 8 jucos in one year save his butt from the hot seat. It worked, six of them started and we beat Iowa that year... I've always thought it might have been better for Mac to sign 3 or 4 in his first 3 years then wean off juco's after a couple winning seasons.

We will always recruit a few JCs at ISU. Its a fact of life. Its not a bad thing either. But, it'd be nice if we stay in the 3-5 JCs a year range, and don't have tons of holes to fill that would require 10 a year or something like that.Quote:

I then went on to say that didn't mean it was legit but it did mean that he had some speed. People aren't timed at 4.32 and then run a 4.6. I also don't give a **** about Torrey Campbell either.
