Re: JUCO WR Trent Hicks
Full court press to sign him. I think this is answering the mail if we needed receiver upgrades.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Re: JUCO WR Trent Hicks
I'd like to see us sign 3 to 5 high level JC players each year for the next few years. In key positions like receiver, d-line/end, d-back, and maybe quarterback to give us some difference makers. Maybe give us an opportunity to have a 9 or 10 win season.

Re: JUCO WR Trent Hicks
I don't see anything in that video that looks like 4.32 or 4.4 speed. He should be running away from most defenders if he had legit 4.4 (or sub 4.4) speed. He does look like an ok route runner and receiver though.

Re: JUCO WR Trent Hicks
If he comes here, we can call him Trek or (TRE)nt hic(K)s - he can be a Star for the Captain.

Im calling BS on the 4.32 speed

Re: JUCO WR Trent Hicks
Only had 20 receptions last year, not too impressive unless he was injured or missed part of the year. 4.32 is awfully fast, I'd like to see that before believing it.

looks fast to me. he was running away from people. just stare at the receivers in the 3 receiver set... without knowing which one was him, i picked it out on 1st play. he hits 5,10, 15 yards a yard or two ahead of anyone else. he is not slow. not sure on his time as i dont have the knowledge to be able to watch a video and guess his 40. But he is the fastest receiver on that team easily.

I'd like for us not to sign any "high level" or otherwise) JC players every year, because signing JC players reflects filling holes on your roster with short term solutions, and I'd really, really rather that we not have any holes on the roster.
Much better to sign high level high school players--success breeds success.

Much better to sign high level high school players--success breeds success. Ridiculous, teams at every level add JC players... see Auburn and $cam Newton.
