This guy is obviously right no need for any more posts

My prediction is he has a down year and isn't nearly the threat he's built up to be.
Jones, Weeden, and Tannehill on the other hand... yikes Griffin still had lingering injury issues from the prior season and some new nagging injuries that affected his play last season. If he completely healed and injury-free, he should be very good and probably the best athlete in the B12.

That would mean that youre trying to win. What if A&M had carried your mindset last season? No bowl and a crappy season. They looked to the future and made the changes. I would do the same at ISU.

He's a hell of an athlete, not denying that at all.

I dont' disagree with putting another guy in if you think he could be better like aTm did with Tannehill but I don't think putting someone in for the sake of experience is the right move either. That's probably the fan in me.

I kind of thought he had the throwing ability of Denard Robinson but he didn't have the all around running ability. That said, he is still very scary.

As far as experience....that's debatable so I'll leave it at that.

i think RG3 went a really long time without throwing an interception (big 12 record maybe?) when he was a freshman. That should jump out at you-- being the superstar athlete that he is--

1. How much respect is Tiller getting for his 'experience' and 'learning opportunities' he got the last 2 years?
2. If we put a green QB on the field with the expectations of losing, what does 3 pretty sure losses do for our respect/recruiting/team confidence building versus possibly pulling off 1, 2, or 3 of the final games if you stick with the experience.
If the older guys are bad enough to justify them being benched, sure, but not just to get the young guys in for experience.

Its pretty easy to avoid INTs when you never throw the ball more than 5 yards down the field.

You know Landry Jones does the same. Doing what you're supposed to well is still a good QB. Baylor has some real good WRs, he doesn't have to do much throwing. He's really only asked to make plays with his feet, which he does really well.

a new scary qb in the south will be a freshman at texas tech. this kid could be real good and could be an outstanding qb. his name is scotty young and young could end up as the starting qb for texas tech...
texas a and m have a very good freshman qb from kerrville,texas..he could win the starting job over tannehill.i forget his name, but he is a very good passer and had an exceptional showing in their spring game...

Seth Doege is going to be the Tech starter. If Gilbert is Texas's starter they will be bad, again.
