Superdog
I think Superdog needs to be outside Jack Trice for football games. Could possibly make a lot of money. Just a thought.

Re: Superdog
Aren't they in the student lots? I know they used to be, kind of by the corner of University BLVD and 16th ST.

The version on welch has bacon, crushed potato chips, pineapple sauce, garlic-cilantro, special sauce, mustard, ketchup, and sealed in with melted monterey jack cheese.

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -
Re: Superdog
Not trying to hijack the thread but why do our concessions continue to suck? It's literally been going on for decades now.
I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong. -

I made the mistake of trying to eat one plain at Jack Trice last year. I could not even eat half of it.

Re: Superdog
The food at the games is great in the lots. Not so much inside.
"For the great enemy of truth is very often not the lie -- deliberate, contrived, and dishonest -- but the myth -- persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the clichés of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought."

You mean the shriveled up pieces of leather they sell at Hilton and JTS?

Re: Superdog
I really don't understand why they don't have vendors and food stands set up the on the street between the Olsen buidling and commuter lots. I think the cool part about Iowa City is all the vendors out in front of the stadium along the street. Really wish ISU would do the same. If they are worried about losing money on consessions inside JTS then charge a space fee to people.
I think it would add to the atmosphere. You would have vendors, the spirit walk, and tent row all right there. Very cool in my opinion.
