I liked their stadium when we were down there in 2008. Seeing their end zone bowled in made me think of how sweet and better Jack Trice will look with the south end bowled in
I guess what they say about Manhattan is true, there is barely anything beyond that endzone.
When I went there in 2006, we tailgated in a sheep pasture. We literally had to wait until they cleared out and penned up the sheep before we could park. It was about as far away from BSFS as lot G7 is from JTS. Maybe closer.
I could see Manhattan being a fun place, but it has an extremely rural feel.
In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.
Once the endzone is bowled in... we really need a bigger pressbox.
I don't really agree. We don't need a massive one like Iowa has because their press box and luxury suites are all one big package. Ours are separated. We have luxury suites from endzone to endzone and there was one empty last season so I'd say there isn't a demand for more.

Recruits choose KSU if they see that new palace of a pressbox going up there compared to our doghouse of a pressbox. Can't get the better players if our stadium is near or at the bottom of the conference.

Yeah, but if we use that money to buy a couple Nissan 350Z's instead we'll be golden no matter what.

I'm going to guess recruits care roughly 0 about the size of the press box. Michigan wouldn't have been able to recruit for squat until a couple years ago in that case. Same story with UCLA, Notre Dame, etc. Baylor has a TON bigger press box than we do yet it does nothing for their recruiting. I don't even think A&M has a huge press box and they seem to do alright. Big name programs have gigantic press boxes because it's their press box and then a ton of people that want suites. We don't have the people wanting suites.
Players go to programs that
a) win or
b) have a ton of amenities
Which comes first? Not sure. Oklahoma State seems to have figured it out in regards to amenities, Boise State seemed to go with the "win" mentality.

I think we need a bigger pressbox because we need a bigger pressbox not because we need to add suites to it. Isn't one of the complaints that ours is very cramped?
